Beware of Heavy Metal Contamination

Beware of Heavy Metal Contamination
A:

A study published in 2021 indicated that 30.51% of crude plant extract samples were detected with at least one over-limit metal in 1773 herbal medicine samples worldwide. The study focused on cadmium, lead, arsenic, mercury, and copper. This result is alarming.

There are many ways for heavy metal exposure in our living environment, but getting rid of it is not easy. Heavy toxicity affects the kidneys and body systems such as the brain, heart, lung, liver, and nervous system. Heavy metals have a low renal excretion rate and can accumulate in the kidneys, often making the kidneys the first target organ of heavy metal toxicity. The damage caused by heavy metals depends on the nature, dosage, route, and duration of exposure. Research suggested that a low dose of heavy metals was enough to bring adverse effects on health.

Long-term consumption of herbal therapy that is contaminated with heavy metals poses harm to the body. The study also recommended establishing global standards and quality requirements for herbal products to safeguard public health.

We always prioritize product quality. We aim to bring safe and effective supplements to the public. We developed the patent extraction method for DTS to eliminate undesirable substances. DTS passes a series of pharmaceutical-grade tests, including heavy metal tests. DTS not only meets the safety requirement for arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury content, but its content is also far below the upper limit of consumption. The daily upper limit recommended by the government is 1500, 179, and 36mg for arsenic, lead, and mercury, respectively, while the upper limit per dose for cadmium is 3500mg. The test found that based on 6g of DTS (equal to a 2-day dosage), the content of the above heavy metals was less than 12mg, which is a tiny amount. We put a lot of effort into the patented formula to ensure all the ingredients are clean and effective. We hope to ensure DTS is safe to consume, even for long-term maintenance.
